American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and active Epic proficiency, with night shifts available.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
• Weekend availability required on an as-needed basis
• No on-call responsibilities
• Block scheduling is not available
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Epic EMR is used; proficiency level 3 or 4 required

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required at time of consideration: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to assignment start
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency at level 3 or 4 required
• Must be nicotine-free — a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as any RTO added after submission will likely not be approved
• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized and completed promptly upon assignment confirmation
