Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Endo experience, prior travel experience, and on-call availability including weekends.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital-based Endoscopy unit
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
• On-call is required, including weekends; candidates must be within 30 minutes of the facility while on call
• Floating is required — travelers are first to float and may be asked to float to sister campuses located within 15–20 minutes of the facility
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy/GI nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Degree from an accredited nursing program required; accreditation verification must be provided
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — this rule is strictly enforced
• Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must be present at the facility in person for badge/ID issuance
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration — no RTO will be approved after that point
• Block scheduling requests are not accepted
• Two professional references are required for consideration: one from within the past year, and one additional reference
• The facility values cultural fit — candidates who are flexible team players and willing to integrate as core staff are strongly preferred
