American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a fast-paced night shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and experience across multiple surgical specialties including neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics.

• Work setting is a hospital Operating Room
• Surgical specialties include general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics cases
• Fast-paced OR environment
• Night shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (19:30–06:00), Monday through Thursday
• Weekend and holiday call required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 5 years of OR RN experience preferred; candidates with less experience but strong specialty backgrounds may be considered
• Experience in general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and/or robotic surgery required
• Two supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• All required certifications must be current and on file

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
• Required years of experience are firm and non-negotiable
