American Traveler is hiring a school-based RN with trach care experience to support students with disabilities, including 1:1 care for a student requiring frequent suctioning.

Details

• School-based setting within a public school district
• Primary assignment in a disabilities classroom with additional 1:1 student support
• 1:1 care includes frequent tracheal suctioning for a medically complex student
• Day shift schedule: 3x7.5-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Full-time at 37.5 hours per week

Requirements

• Active South Carolina (SC) RN license or compact RN license valid in SC required
• Trach care and suctioning experience is required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing support to students with disabilities in a classroom setting
• Deliver 1:1 direct care to a student with a tracheostomy requiring frequent suctioning
• Candidates who have worked at the district as a permanent employee within the past 12 months are not eligible
