American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Massachusetts, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 3–5 years of L&D experience on 12-hour night shifts.

Details

• Work in the Obstetrics Delivery unit of an acute care hospital setting
• Comprehensive perinatal care environment including prenatal evaluation, intrapartum care, intraoperative and recovery care for operative delivery, postpartum care, maternal/newborn couplet care for well babies, and special care for premature or higher-acuity newborns
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Epic EMR — experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association) and NRP
• 3–5+ years of L&D experience preferred
• Comfort with OR/operative delivery settings preferred
• Flu vaccine required (declinations not accepted); COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

• Provides the full scope of perinatal services in collaboration with a major academic medical center, including labor and birth, operative delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Biweekly orientation schedule
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before being considered
