Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lewiston, ID, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience and an Idaho or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
• Case types include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Robotic Knee Replacement, Neuro, and Trauma; Da Vinci robotic experience is preferred
• Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• On-call required one day per week and one weekend per month
• Weekends required on an on-call basis

Requirements

• Active Idaho RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with General Surgery, Orthopedics, Robotic/Da Vinci procedures, Trauma, and Neuro preferred
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating surgical cases, scheduling cases, ensuring supply readiness, case timeliness, family communication, and updating physician preference cards
• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other OR personnel in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
