American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a travel assignment at a large acute care teaching hospital, requiring 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and availability for on-call cardiac emergencies and monthly weekend rotations.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) of a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 1:1 patient ratio
• On-call is required for cardiac emergencies in both scrub and circulator roles
• Weekend coverage required: one weekend per month (Saturday 6:00 AM – Monday 6:00 AM)
• Floating is required between facilities within the state based on unit needs
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• OR scrubs are provided by the facility
• No parking fee

Requirements

• Active RN license and OR RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Scrub and circulator experience preferred
• A personal vehicle is required for this assignment
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include both scrub and circulator roles, including response to cardiac emergencies while on call
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Floating locations include facilities in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the submitting facility
• RTO should be minimal; all time-off requests must be communicated at the time of submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
