American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) travel position in Portland, ME, requiring a ME or compact RN license and offering day shifts with minimal weekend requirements.

Details

• Located at a hospital campus in Portland, ME
• Pre/Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting
• Shift times vary and may include 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, or 9:00 AM–9:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements
• Minimal weekend requirements
• Float policy in effect — candidates may be required to float between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed

Requirements

• Active ME RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• PACU or post-anesthesia care nursing experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups are not permitted for this position
• Candidates who have worked at any facility within this health system within the past 12 months must disclose this at the time of consideration
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any facility in this health system (including residents of Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and are subject to a different bill rate
• Local candidates are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
