American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level 1 academic teaching facility, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Adult Emergency Department at a Level 1 trauma and academic teaching hospital
• Night shift: 7p–7a and Day shift: 7a–7p (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• At least 12 months of experience in the ER setting required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accreditation); diploma, ADN, or BSN accepted — BSN preferred
• 2 professional references at the supervisor level or above required for consideration
• Fingerprinting required for all ER candidates per Virginia state law (Code of Virginia 37.1-183.3); candidates cannot begin assignment until results are received (average turnaround: 15–20 business days)
