American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in MA with strong dysrhythmia skills and flexibility for night shifts.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shifts with either 7:00 pm–7:30 am or 3:00 pm–3:30 am hours; must be available to work both as needed
• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend and holidays if needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Block scheduling and 48-hour week options are not available
• Uses Meditech Expanse EMR system; experience is strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years current Emergency Department nursing experience
• Completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course is strongly required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC, all must be current and in hand at time of submission
• Current Emergency Room and supervisory skills checklists required
• Personal vehicle required for assignment
• Perm address must confirm candidate lives more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Up to 5 days of requested time off permitted, but must be declared prior to assignment; no schedule requests will be considered after acceptance
• Orientation is 8 hours and is non-billable
• Personal scrubs of any color may be worn
• Holiday coverage required as assigned
• First-time travelers will be considered
