American Traveler is hiring a Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) to provide Math, Literacy, and Executive Functioning support at multiple K-8 school locations, requiring a valid CDE credential.

Details

• Full-time Learning Specialist for mild/moderate needs in a schools setting
• Position covers elementary (K-1) and middle school (grades 6-8) students
• Day shift schedule from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday
• Role is based out of the ESC and includes travel between multiple educational sites
• Assignment runs from ASAP or specified start date through end of school year

Requirements

• Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential in hand is required
• Experience working with elementary and middle school students with mild to moderate special needs
• License required if applicable
• Successful completion of Colorado CBI and FBI fingerprinting for clearance

Additional Information

• Provide individualized support in Math, Literacy, and Executive Functioning to assigned students
• May be required to complete onboarding modules, billable up to six hours
• Work environment covers multiple locations within the school district
• Fingerprinting must be completed promptly upon contract signing
