American Traveler is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an outpatient position requiring a CA license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Position is in an outpatient occupational therapy department within an acute care hospital
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Weekend coverage required for one weekend day (typically Sunday) every other weekend
• Floating may be required to acute rehab and other inpatient floors
• EMR utilized is Epic; EMR experience required

Requirements

• Current CA Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Locals are accepted
• Pending licenses not accepted

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must not live within 50 miles of the facility
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
• Requested time off must be included at time of consideration; schedule change requests after confirmation may be denied
• Free parking is available onsite
• Dress code requires solid royal blue scrubs for clinicians
