Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with inpatient and outpatient adult rehab experience for a day shift position with no weekend or call requirements.

Details

• Work in a mixed inpatient/TCU and outpatient rehab setting
• Primary caseload consists of adult inpatients with some outpatient adult and LTC, with potential for pediatric outpatients
• Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• No call or weekend shifts required
• EMR system used is Epic; Epic experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active OTR/L (Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed) required
• Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Experience with adult rehab caseload preferred
• Minnesota OT license in hand required if applicable
• Must complete in-person fingerprinting in Minnesota prior to start
• Medical or religious exemption forms required for vaccine exemptions

Additional Information

• Must work the day before and after holidays as needed, and half-day for Christmas Eve if scheduled
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed; no time off within first 2 weeks
• Not open to local candidates within 25 or 50 miles of facility
• Former staff must be gone 9 months before returning as traveler
• Lab work required within 48 hours of signing contract
• Candidates are financially responsible for their own travel arrangements for fingerprinting
