Description

American Traveler is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a middle school resource setting requiring an active CO SPED General Endorsement and IEP case management experience.

Details

• Work in a middle school resource setting focused on mild to moderate special education needs
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week
• 13-week assignment with standard school hours
• Serve as a case manager and write Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Requirements

• Active Colorado Special Education General Endorsement required
• Experience as a case manager and in writing IEPs is required
• Three professional references required, with at least two being supervisory
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for managing and supporting students with mild to moderate special education needs
• Will participate in interviews during winter break
