American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient colorectal surgical clinic position with Epic and outpatient experience required.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting specializing in colorectal surgical cases
• Primary duties include ambulatory consults, post-operative care, and oncology-focused patient follow-ups
• Typical schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Heavy oncology patient volume
• Uses Epic EMR and experience with Epic is required

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license is required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
• Prior outpatient RN experience is required
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver’s license and social security card are required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include providing nursing care for patients undergoing colorectal surgery and oncology treatments
• At least one holiday shift per 13-week assignment is required; two holidays are required during the winter holiday period
• Candidates living within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this travel role
• Previous employees must be separated from the facility for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers may not return after 365 days of prior assignment, except as reviewed by facility leadership
