Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience and BLS certification for a day shift position covering a broad territory.

Details

• Home health setting serving a territory including Concord, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, and surrounding areas
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Average caseload is 5-7 geriatric patients per day
• Flexible coverage required within a 60-mile radius from the hub
• On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend
• Oasis experience required
• HCHB EMR experience required
• First-time travelers are accepted

Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist license in CA required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year recent home health OT experience required
• BLS certification required
• Oasis experience required
• HCHB (HomeCare HomeBase) EMR experience required
• Timely communication and documentation skills required

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to be flexible with territory assignments
• Productivity standards require 25 points weekly
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Dress code is scrubs of any color; jeans are not permitted
• iPad is provided for work documentation; cell phone is not provided
• No call-in allowed
• Locals are accepted at the travel rate
