Description

American Traveler is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a K-1 instructional classroom with a small caseload and required licensure.

Details

• School-based setting in a special education classroom
• Grades K-1 instructional classroom
• Caseload consists of approximately 8 students
• Day shift schedule, typically 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3 days per week with 10-hour days

Requirements

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement or Early Childhood endorsement required
• Experience working with early elementary special education students preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Primary responsibility is providing instruction and support to K-1 students with special education needs
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Must provide a current resume for consideration
