Work in the OB Special Care Unit specializing in high risk antepartum patients
Nights schedule with 12-hour shifts and three shifts per week
Patient population includes high risk obstetric cases requiring specialized monitoring and care

Requirements

Active RN license from Oklahoma or a compact state (eNLC) required
Minimum of one year RN experience required
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), all from the American Heart Association
Good verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills required
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility location (no local candidates)

Additional Information

Assume responsibility for an assigned group of high-risk obstetric patients
Perform clinical duties such as administering medication, monitoring physiological data, documenting care, and assisting with minor diagnostic procedures
Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and support staff to deliver coordinated care and develop individualized care plans
Provide patient and family education regarding hospital procedures and care plans
Must complete background check and drug screening through specified vendor with firm deadlines
May extend once for up to 26 weeks total; a 6-month separation is required after the assignment before reapplying
Holiday coverage may be required depending on unit needs
